Tetris 2 NES Game Cartridge
Tetris 2 was released for the NES in 1993/ It was developed and published by Nintendo. It was also released for the SNES and Game Boy. The game is takes the concept of Tetris and does a variation. Instead of the player having the goal of using descending blocks from the screen’s top called tetrominos to make matching lines that were horizontal, the player will match colors of descending blocks, which also include irregular shapes of tetrominos, to the blocks that are already fixed within the game’s play area. This will cause the blocks to disappear when the player matches three different blocks all having one color. The manner this is accomplished is similar to Dr Mario, another puzzle game that was released for the NES.
