The Blues Brothers NES Game Cartridge
The Blues Brothers was released for the NES in 1992. It was developed and published by Titus Software. The band with the same name is what the game is based on, and the game’s objective is evading police to get to the blues concert. The characters in the game will be able to lift boxes and then throw them toward enemies. Every level will be a variation on a jumping theme, having the player’s characters find a necessary item, like a guitar, somewhere within a level. The sixth level, being the last, will end on stage. Two player cooperative will be available, but the screen will only scroll with one player. The soundtrack will be from the film. The music from all versions, except the one on Game Boy, was composed by Dimitris Yerasimos.
