Fast Break NES Game Cartridge

Magic Johnson’s Fast Break was released for the NES in 1990. It was developed by Software Creations and published by Tradewest. The players team will begin every game with a salary level. The player’s goal is beating the opponents to get a bigger salary. If wins are accumulated, the player could get their name on the screen with big earners. There are five different skill levels to choose from, from Rookie all the way to Professional. Every level will provide quicker gameplay, a tougher defense, and getting more money if the player wins. Every game will last four real time 3 minute quarters. Between each quarter, the player can review the stats like the percentage of field goals made, three pointers, steals, and rebounds. If there is a tie after the last buzzer, additional quarters will be played until there is a winner.

The player will control one character at once, with an arrow appearing on the screen above the player’s head the human player is controlling. The B button is used to switch the players. The game can support up to four players with the Four Score or a Satellite, both made by Nintendo. Multiplayer will allow single games, but not support any tournament play.
