Monopoly NES Game Cartridge
Monopoly was released for the NES in 1991. It was developed by Sculptured Software and published by Parker Brothers. The game is adapted from the board game of Monopoly. Eight players can play the game and computer opponents can fill any amount of the positions. There will be a total of eight different opponents that can be selected from the portrait gallery. It will be possible to put a game time limit and other customizations a player would prefer like the amount of money each player begins with, houses, hotels, and owned properties. The game will also come with some preset scenarios that will have starting parameters that vary. This 8-bit version of Monopoly has eight scenarios while the 16-bit versions will have twelve.
The board will be seen from above while playing the game. When the tokens are moved, an animation will be displayed in the board’s center, the same with a hand that throws dice. The trades and auctions will be on different special screens.
