Remote Control NES Game Cartridge

Remote Control was released for the NES in 1990. It is based on a game show from MTV. The game has three contestants, being either human or computers, competing against each other by answering specific questions about a variety of actors/actresses, characters, movies, and TV shows. It has two rounds of play and a third round called think real fast.

During the first couple rounds, the game will consist of a large TV with nine different channels. A player will then chose a channel that represents a specific category and reveals a question. The first contestant to buzz in and give the right answer will earn points. There are several different categories available, which include soap operas, Saturday night live, cop shows, video high, etc. Categories will vary every game played. Every now and then a surprise channel will appear with no question, but will remove or award point to a player. These two rounds will end when all the questions supplied have been answered. Close to the end of round two, the player with the lowest score will be eliminated and leave the last two contestants for round three. The third round will last thirty seconds, with the player needing to answer the most short answer questions they can to earn points. The player with the most points when round three is over will win the game.
